De Cecco e-shop is the fastest and easiest way to: surf the various categories in order to have an overview of all De Cecco products; find the goods you are interested in fast, by means of a simple search; evaluate their characteristics and check their prices; purchase them safely.
Is the registration to the web site compulsory?:
No, in order to buy on line De Cecco products the registration to the web site is not necessary. The registration to De Cecco e-shop guarantees some advantages though: you will insert your data only once, on the occasion of your first order on the web site, and you will always receive, in advance, all novelties about De Cecco goods and world.
You can have access to the registration from the home page, clicking on the link in the left box; then you can fill in the form on line, all fields carefully.Once the registration has been completed, you can use the login and the password you have chosen as the only means to be recognized by the system and to carry out all your purchases on line.

A search engine is an online service helping you with your search within the contents of the site. The fundamental element of an engine is the searching field, a blank box in which you can write one or more words concerning the product you are interested in and according to which the engine will browse through the whole database of De Cecco products in order to propose you the results. In De Cecco e-shop, you can find goods by means of the search engine entering those .key words. concerning the theme of your search. The search engine will suggest you a series of results, in alphabetical order, reporting the product code, its description and price; from results, you can also gain access to the product detailed profile.
When is it worth surfing the site and when is it worth using the search?:
There are two alternatives in order to find what you are interested in: surfing the commodity categories of the De Cecco e-shop site or using the search tool. First of all you can try looking into the various categories, subdivided into detailed sub-categories. If you don.t find the good you are interested in, you can use the search engine in order to search within the specific category or in the whole De Cecco e-shop site.
How have I to conduct the search?:
The product database of De Cecco e-shop contains more than 100 products. In order to carry out your search more quickly, we advise you to avoid using non specific words and to use synonyms, compound words and other acronyms you can link to the product you are interested in.
What does the "key word" term mean?:
The term "key word" - or "word to be searched" - means any words entered into the appropriate search field: it can be a word with a concrete sense, a personal noun, but also a number, an acronym or an abbreviation. By using a specific word, the engine result will give a result matching the real needs of the person carrying out the search.
What does it happen if I write a non specific word?:
You will probably obtain many results, so it is worth to restrict your search by entering further words or modifying the initial non specific word, in order to carry out a more specific search.

What is a cart and how does it work?:
The cart is a page of the web site (see the following image)allowing you to display all selected products waiting for being purchased. The reported data allow you to have a precise idea about the packs weight, the product quantity and the available modes of payment. In case you are no longer interested in a product already added to your cart, you can simply delete it from the list, by clicking on the red icon 'x' in the column 'Eliminate'.
How can I order De Cecco products on line?:
In the page of your cart, you can proceed with ordering the products by clicking on "Order": before doing this, you have to specify the transport means for the shipment as well as your selected mode of payment. (please, remember that the maximum gross weight limit is equal to 120 Kg for each order; should you exceed this limit, please contact the Customer Service office who will suggest you to place more orders).
Alternatively, the cart can offer 3 further services reported at page bottom: 'Empty the cart' : this function allows you to eliminate all selected products previously added to your cart; 'Compute again': this function allows you to compute again the total price, in the case you have modified the quantity;
'Save the cart': this function allows you to preserve the content of the cart without immediately proceeding with the order; in this way, on your following access to the site, you will find again the cart with the selected products.

Risks are nearly null; the data relevant to the credit card (number and expiry date) do not pass through our server, but they are directly forwarded cryptographically to the Safe Server (SSL) of our bank - Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena.

It needs to contact promptly our Customer Service, via e-mail or by phone.

What happens upon the order delivery?:
When the courier will deliver the package, you should check that:
1) the package is intact, neither undamaged nor wet and, at any rate, in compliance with the standard characteristics of a package
2) the number of parcels (number of packages) reported on the carrier document correspond to the number of parcels which have been actually delivered;
N.B.: Possible claims have to be immediately raised to the carrier; failing that, the product can be considered correctly delivered. The invoice in the proper pocket on the external side of the package is to be kept.

Shipment costs change according to the destination country of the goods and to the gross weight of the forwarded goods: they are displayed at the order closing, before any possible confirmation
How long does it take for the goods to be delivered?:
Delivery times are indicative and start, regarding payment by credit card, from the day after you receive confirmation of the order, regarding those with payment in advance via banker transfer from the day after confirmation of credit from our bank.
In Italy the delivery is effected by SDA courier and it takes 2-3 days for inland regions and the main islands, 3-4 days for the small islands. Abroad, we use TNT courier and the delivery terms vary approx. from 3 to 7 days, depending on where the goods must be delivered.
If export documents are requested then please take note that probably more days will be necessary for the delivery.
What happens if I am not at home at the moment of delivery?:
Couriers deliver from Monday through Friday during working time and they cannot fix appointments. They will try to deliver the package within the 3 following working days, leaving each time a notice reporting the telephone number to contact the branch office managing your shipment and to agree on the delivery or pick-up by the branch office itself. After the third attempt the courier will send the package back to the company F.lli De Cecco.
For this reason, we advise you to indicate as delivery address the place where it will be easier to find you (also your working place specifying name/company/firm/office and if necessary number or name on the internal phone, internal number, porter.s lodge or other information . WARNING: specify these information only if you are authorized to receive personal deliveries at your working place)
How can I exert the withdrawal right? When will I be paid back?:
De Cecco acknowledges the withdrawal right as established by the regulations in force. The useful term for the exercising of this right is equal to 10 days, starting from the receipt of the goods as established by the law; within this term the customer is obliged to communicate it to us by means of registered post (Address: F.lli De Cecco di Filippo Fara S. Martino S.p.A. zona Industriale 66015 Fara S. Martino (CH) - FAO Express Courier Office). In order to return goods it needs that the products are packed in their own original package (should it be unusable you can replace the original box with another one showing the same size and resistance and specifying name and number of the order) and received by the company F.lli De Cecco within 30 working days as from the delivery date of the order. We would like to remember you that the shipment cost of goods returned to our warehouse is charged to you.
On receipt of your returned goods, the company F.lli De Cecco will check that all requirements have been met and then you will receive an e-mail confirming the .returned goods acceptance.. The starting of the reimbursement procedure will occur within 30 working days as from the date when the company F.lli De Cecco was informed about the exertion of your withdrawal right.
What must I do if, upon delivery, one or more packages are visibly damaged or not in compliance with the package standard?:
If upon delivery the package (or all parcels included in the order) appears visibly damaged, you have to refuse the delivery; should only one ordered package be damaged, you have to refuse only the damaged package writing on the courier invoice the wording .under protest. and the explanation for the partial acceptance of the delivery. Successively you have to contact our Customer Service pointing out the event:

What must I do if, upon delivery, the number of parcels is inferior to the one reported on the courier transport document?:
You have to accept packages by signing the courier receipt and writing near your signature the wording .under protest. specifying that you have received a number of parcels inferior to the due one. Successively you must contact our Customer Service pointing out the event and specifying the missing products:

What must I do if, by opening the package, the goods are damaged or not in compliance with the order?
You must contact our Customer Service, pointing out the incompliance of received goods compared to the ordered ones and specifying day and time you are available for the withdrawal. You can contact the Customer Service:
