Gramigna is a speciality of the Northern region of Emilia Romagna; it is a short type of pasta derived from the spaghettone and has a curled hollowed short shape. It is traditionally served with chunky sausage sauces or wiith ragù alla Bolognese and, in general, with meat or tomato based sauces.
